We had an incredible journey to the Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx! Cairo is truly a fascinating place and a 2 hour trip on a camel into the desert is just the way to start! The people all are kind and some speak English, but they all know and love their Pyramids! We did 5 shows while in Egypt and loved everyone and their gracious
company and hospitality!
Each night in our Hotel we went to a Club and listened to Arabic Music and Wow was it Wonderful! Cairo has a population of 17 Million People and we heard of no crime or killing while we were there, however there were a lot of traffic problems…..
The one thing we did not get to do was go to the Cairo Museum….Not enough time, but that will give us something to look forward to on the next trip….

What a great time !! And the show at the Incerlik Club was even more fun! 500 people in attendance and plenty of laughs…..

This is the Monument leading to the
Memorial of Moses….
Mount Nebo is the place where Moses ended his 40 years of
Traveling to get to the
Promised Land….
and after arriving to Mount Nebo, God spoke to Moses
on this Mountain.
(please forgive my biblical
knowledge, I may not have the story exactly correct, but I'm close)
A Church is built on the top of Mount Nebo and the altar is placed where Moses was supposedly
buried.
This spot is where Moses looked out over the Promised Land and from here you can see Jerusalem, Jericho and the Dead Sea.
We did have time to take a trip over and see the
Dead Sea!
It was an experience!

When you are leaving the Mountain they have an actual stone which was used to close a burial plot,,,,,,a very
interesting place to visit!
IN PORTUGAL
Portugal has 9 islands off the mainland coast and they are called the Azores….the island we are on is called Terceira and what a great time we had! At least 300 people showed up to see our show and Marco, our host took us on a trip all around the island. While driving to this peak we had to stop and let a herd of 30 or so Cattle cross the road….

While on the base in the Sanai Desert we met a man from Clarksville,TN who is almost ready to leave and come back to Tennessee,,,,
